Río Dulce

Río Dulce, Izabal

When you visit Rio Dulce you will be enchanted by its beauty and its beautiful landscapes. Relax and enjoy a great afternoon near río dulce or near Izabal Lake.

Río Dulce is located in the department of Izabal. It is one of the first protected areas of Guatemala since 1955. It is a habitat of the Manatee, a mammal that is in danger of extinction.

You can also visit livingston, a land of joy and happiness. The language they speak is Garífuna, and the inhabitants of this region are the result of the mixture of three ethnic groups: Carib Indians, Araguacos, originating in South America and Africa.

Lake Izabal is the largest in Guatemala, with plenty of fish. On its banks you can see great variety of herons, in addition that is the home of the manatee, this last species has been greatly reduced by the hunting of which it has been object.

The appearance of this apartment is very varied, it is surprising and beautiful; This beauty comes from the majesty of its forests, its mountains and its landscapes. We recommend spending a night in this beautiful place.
